"Heartsaver" CPR First Aid and AED Class
HS – CPR/AED is a course targeted to individuals who are not a healthcare professional, but tend to have frequent exposure to groups of people or individuals such as day care workers, teachers, baby sitters and foster parents.
The Heartsaver First Aid course is designed to educate the individual on how to respond and care for injuries you may come across, such as bleeding and splinting. This course is great for individuals who work construction, babysitters, scouts, or even active sports enthusiast.
The Heartsaver Course: For daycare workers, church/pre-school workers, aquatic/amusement park workers and other lay people whose job requires written evaluation and skill performance. Includes Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and Choking. It is a credential course.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (HCP)
BLS for HCP is designed for individuals who work in the healthcare field or going or going to school for a healthcare profession.
The Healthcare Provider Course: For anyone responding to medical emergencies. Licensed healthcare providers and other certified professionals whose job requires written evaluation and skills performance. It is a credential course.
CPR Recertifications and Renewals
Taking CPR training just once in your life is not enough. Every two years, your CPR certification expires and recertification is needed. This is because CPR is not something that we use in our everyday lives so it can easily be forgotten. Like anything in life, if you don’t use it, you often lose it.
